LEGALISATION PROCESS
As a member of the Hague Convention of 1961, documents only need to be legalised by means of an Apostille, which is issued by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in the UK.
FEES
The fee is £30 (standard service) or £75 (premium service)
PROCESSING TIMES
3-5 working days (standard service) or same-day/24 hours (premium service)
NOTES/COMMENTS
As of 14th August 2016, documents for Brazil will no longer need to be attested at the Consulate and the apostille will be sufficient. An Apostille issued before 14th August 2016 will be valid, provided the documents are not presented for use before this date.
