Documents to be legalised for use in Syria need first to be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to be apostilled and then presented to the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce for attestation.
The fee payable is £87.03
In 2012, the UK suspended diplomatic relations with Syria. Legalisation at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office/Arab-British Chamber of Commerce is sufficient for UK documents until further notice (Circular 727 of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce).
