Legalisation Process
Documents to be legalised for use in Tanzania need first to be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to be apostilled and then presented to the Consular Section of the Tanzanian High Commission for attestation.

Notes/Comments
Owing to the provisions of s. 94 of the Tanzanian Evidence Act 1967, powers of attorney executed before a UK notary public do not usually need to be legalised.
